In order to accommodate a fully integrated hospital system, MED2020 offers a variety of interfaces to, and from, 3rd party vendor systems. This includes Batch In/Out and real-time HL7 interfaces.
As a member of HL7 Canada, MED2020 can offer the most recent versions of HL7 real time interfaces. All interfaces (Batch and HL7) are completely customized to our clients' needs and include interfacing to virtually any 3rd party vendor system - for example, hospital case costing systems, ADT systems and data repositories.
Hospitals who take advantage of the full capabilities of the ADT interfaces see definite increases in productivity as many of the mandated fields can be automatically entered through the interface.
Data Export also referred to as Batch OutThe Batch out interface enables hospitals to export data from the WinRecs system to virtually any other database at the hospital. This becomes most effective for data repository and case costing systems. More
Data Import also referred to as Batch InWinRecs primarily uses Batch In interfaces to pull the required patient information from the hospital's ADT system. Hospitals can create a batch routine to pull the information at their discretion. More
HL7 InterfaceAn HL7 can be either real-time or batch. This interface automates many procedures such as generating the abstract or making corrections to the abstract from the information being pulled from the ADT system. More
