Embedded Folio Tables - The system allows the coder to see all relevant information such as: excludes, includes, daggar, asterisk, code-also and omit on the main grid prior to populating the abstract.
Customized Pick Lists - In order to assist with faster coding, the user has the ability to generate their own pick lists to access the proper codes more efficiently. These pick lists can include "Top X" diagnoses, Interventions by specific doctors etc.
Cross Reference Tables - As some codes have long descriptors, the system allows the user to generate their own cross reference tables to speed up their searches. This features allows the user to customize the search pattern to their own style.
Edit Checks for Coding Conflicts - Based on CIHI coding guidelines, the system will notify the user should conflicts in code selections occur. Errors or warnings will be generated and displayed on the main screen for quick rectification.
Stand-Alone Capabilities - The N-Coder has been designed to be an integrated solution in WinRecs or can act as a stand-alone system for facilities wishing to use the N-Coder without purchasing the Full WinRecs Suite of Modules.
